Military Radio

AN/PRC-117G Military Radio - Creating a 3D model of the AN/PRC-117G military radio, my first asset in Substance Painter, has been an exciting journey. Beginning with meticulous crafted in 3Ds Max, I meticulously model the intricate details of this critical military equipment. Substance Painter brought it to life as I textured the radio, mimicking the appearance of metal, plastic, and rubber. Photoshop came into play for alpha map creation, adding transparency and realism with scratches and labels. The final step, rendering in Marmoset, provided a lifelike preview of the radio in different lighting conditions. This project not only honed my 3D skills but also stands as a testament to my commitment to realism and detail in 3D art, making it an invaluable addition to my portfolio for future career opportunities in game development and digital art.

Wrench

Wrench  -  As a student venturing into the world of 3D modeling and game development, my first project was the creation of a 3D wrench asset for my portfolio. This endeavor involved modeling and baking in 3Ds Max, texturing in Photoshop with XNormal for depth, and rendering in Marmoset. The wrench, a common tool with a mix of surfaces, served as an ideal canvas to showcase my budding skills. From gathering references to mastering UV unwrapping, I learned valuable lessons throughout this journey. This project marks the beginning of my creative exploration and stands as a testament to my dedication to honing my craft, holding a special place as my inaugural student work in the world of 3D art and game development.
